Kayla Jackson has spoken out about her time on MTV.

After appearing on the third season of 16 and Pregnant, Jackson felt misrepresented by the network. While she faced the normal struggles of a teenage mother, Jackson claimed in a new Twitter message that her life was edited to appear much worse than it actually was.
“I hate ’16 and Pregnant,’” Jackson tweeted last week. “It was the worst decision I’ve ever made. And every time they replay [my episode] and people ask me about it I regret it all over again.”

During her episode of 16 and Pregnant, Jackson, who was pregnant with her then-boyfriend's son, Preston, was seen struggling not only with becoming a mother at a young age, but also with anorexia.
“I had really good times with Mike, my friends and, yes, even my mom,” she wrote. “Did they show any of that? No. They showed me starving myself (not true), fighting with my mom, dropping out of school and made everything into a dramatic mess.”
That said, Jackson, who split from her son's father shortly after he was born, takes full blame for MTV's alleged misrepresentation of her life.
“It was my decision to put myself on TV, I have no one to blame but myself,” she said.
16 and Pregnant is expected to return to MTV for a sixth season later this year.
