Ciara is making it clear that her ex-fiancé Future isn't part of her life anymore and in fact, has been put in the past. The chart topper recently revealed that her new single, I Bet was inspired by real life events, which included her breaking off her engagement to Future. The Atlanta rapper allegedly cheated on her only weeks after she gave birth to their son, Future Wilburn, back in May of last year.

According to Extra on Wednesday, Ciara said, "I Bet is inspired by real life. It was one of those topics everyone could relate to."

As far as her new album, Jackie, Ciara says she dedicated the title to her mother of the same name. She explains that since giving birth to her son Future, motherhood has changed her and that she sees the world quite differently as a parent.

Ciara said, "Now being a mom, I can see the world through her eyes." She then joked about getting back into the studio, "I really have to be a successful woman now. Baby ain't cheap and baby's gotta eat, so I go hard these days with a purpose. He's everything to me."

Meanwhile, in an interview with Australia's News.com.au posted on Monday, the 29-year-old single mother says that despite her tour getting off to a rocky start, things ended pretty well in Sydney before she headed back home over the weekend.

Ciara said, "Cyclones and craziness but everything is good now. My fans have been showing me in so many ways that they are with me... they've got me. Coming here was about feeling that good love and energy because it's been so long."

She added, "I think happiness starts with you and you can conquer anything, change the energy of your universe by expressing happiness. I feel pretty darn good."
