It looks like the cat might be out of the bag. While this shouldn't be surprising to anyone who is an avid reality television watcher, Maddie Ziegler of Dance Moms fame has revealed that the show might be fake. The pint-sized dancer went on the record to say that most of the show's fights are staged by the producers.

Maddie Ziegler Says Australian Singer Sia Was Starstruck By The Dancer

In an interview with USA Today the 12-year-old dancer said, "It's hard to do a reality show when there's so much crying and drama. The producers set it up to make us all yell at each other."

Ziegler added, ""You know how I said that moms do fight? The moms have to fake a fight sometimes. Afterward they just start talking and laugh about it."

Abby Lee Miller Not Returning To The Show Because Of Her Lawsuit?

But if there's one fight that hasn't been faked, it's the one between Abby Lee Miller and former star Kelly Hyland. According to Hyland, her daughter Paige suffered from panic attacks while Miller emotionally berated her. The controversial dance instructor had even allegedly thrown a chair at her during one of their dance practices.

According to The Hollywood Reporter back in November, Judge Kwan said that Hyland can proceed forward with her claims against Miller, which include negligence and breach of contract.

The lawsuit says that Miller "engaged in conduct that caused the Plaintiff to reasonably believe she was about to be touched or harmed in an offensive matter. As a proximate result of the Defendant's wrongful conduct, the Plaintiff has suffered emotional distress, anxiety, frustration, anger, humiliation, post traumatic stress and anguish."

The lawsuit said, "Miller insulted and abused Paige on an almost daily basis, including cruel name calling, insults about Paige's physical appearance and making offensive false and defamatory accusations about Paige's family. All of this abuse was done for the sake of drama during the show."
