Ashton Kutcher had a busy weekend as he attended the launch of his newest venture capital fund Sound Ventures at SXSW in Austin, Texas.

Is Ashton Kutcher Leaving Behind Acting For The World Of Investments?

OK! reported earlier this month that the Two and a Half Men actor is ready to move on from Hollywood. He's thinking of giving up acting to pursue a career in investments.

The 37-year-old new dad is apparently ready to take up the world of investments full-time because he is thinking of his daughter Wyatt Isabelle's future.

"Having a baby has changed Ashton's outlook on life, and he doesn't want his family to deal with all the drama that comes with Hollywood," a source shared.

"It's not as if he needs the money the entertainment industry brings anymore, so he's seriously considering working solely on his venture capital firm," the source added.

Kutcher has an array of investments, including Airbnb and Fab.

He is the co-founder of A-Grade Investments, which is a venture capital fund to opportunistically invest in technology start-up companies.

His partner of A-Grade Investments is Guy Oseary.

Oseary is also Kutcher's partner for Sound Ventures.

At the launch, Kutcher's future wife Mila Kunis joined the co-founders. She showed rave support for their new venture capital fund by donning big smiles.

Also in attendance were investor/entrepreneur Mark Cuban; Wall Street Journal Technology columnist Kara Swisher; investor Dave Morin and his wife Brit; CEO and President of Live Nation Michael Rapino; producer Brian Grazer; rappers Lil Wayne and T.I.; actress Rashida Jones and drummer Questlove; Jay Brown; Krista Burditt of Nasty Gal; Abe Burns of A-Grade, among others.

Lil Wayne even performed during the launch.
