The fans of former series Witches of East End may have just received some bad news although one of the actors from the show probably feels differently.

Can Fans Still Help With A 'Witches Of East End' Renewal?

After the supernatural drama got cancelled last fall, there has been plenty of speculation that there could still be a renewal. But as of now, it may be time to move on because it appears that one of the stars from the show has.

On Monday, Digital Spy announced that Rachel Boston, who played Ingrid on Witches, has signed on for a CBS pilot called For Justice. The show stars an FBI agent named Kat (Anika Noni Rose) where Boston's character named Lisa works as a lawyer on the team.

'Witches Of East End' Cancellation Gains Attention Everywhere

If the actress has signed on to a new TV series, odds are likely that she's not planning for the ladies in East End to come back anytime soon. There might still be a piece of closure to work with from the show, but it seems doubtful that there will be an official third season.

In a previous interview with Enstars, Madchen Amick, who played Wendy on the drama, mentioned that she would love to be a part of a Witches finale that could sum up all the cliffhangers that took place in the finale.

"I'd love it if Lifetime decided to do like a last two-hour movie finale to wrap everything up because we really did leave some crazy cliffhangers, that's really not fair to the fans and it's not fair to us," Amick said. "We feel like we didn't have closure."
