Gretchen Rossi Defends Her 'Glam' in New Instagram Photo

In a new interview, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star announced her brand, Gretchen Christine, would soon include women’s wear, makeup, swimwear and handbags.

“I had a lot of women reach out to me on the show that just said, ‘I want to look and feel my best and you always seem to look and feel great, so how do you do it?’" Rossi revealed to KCAL 9 on Saturday. "So I really wanted to bring affordable fashion and beauty to all of my fans and customers."

Rossi appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County for seasons four, five, six, seven and eight, before she was reportedly fired, along with former friend Alexis Bellino. According to a report by Us Weekly in late 2013, Bravo producers let Rossi and Bellino go after deciding their story lines had become uninteresting for fans.

"Alexis and Gretchen were fired," a source told the magazine. "They just had run their course. Gretchen has been on the show a long time, and it was the same old story."

In her interview with KCAL 9, Rossi spoke of her reality TV exit, claiming, “It was time to turn that page and it’s been really exciting to go into the next chapter of my life."
