Deena Cortese dropped two dress sizes and flaunted a slimmer figure in a bikini for a recent photo shoot.

Cortese, the last member to join the cast of MTV's "Jersey Shore," appears in the latest issue of InTouch Weekly for a "Bay Watch"-inspired photograph.

The member of "Team Meatball" made a splash on a beach as she ran through the ocean in a red one-piece bikini with windswept hair. She took cues from the hit 90's show's opening scene with Pamela Anderson running through the water.

Cortese reportedly spoke with InTouch about how she achieved her weight loss and looked up to Pamela Anderson.

"I loved 'Baywatch' when I was younger. I always wished I was her," she told the magazine.

Corteste revealed she dropped 15 pounds through regular diet and exercise, and also admitted that she struggled with her body image.

"My weight was getting out of control, and I knew it was time to do something about it," she said.

She shared that she was inspired to slim down after watching herself on seasons three through five of "Jersey Shore," as well as the negative criticism she received from the show's viewers.

"If you're a little heavy, online bullies will treat you like crap," she said "It's sad. And it really hurt."

Cortese, 25, will appear in the sixth and final season of "Jersey Shore," which premieres this week. Also known as "The Blast," she was arrested for disorderly conduct in June after a officer spotted her standing intoxicated in the middle of a street, according to Seaside Heights Police Chieft Tommy Boyd, WNBC reports.

The Seaside Heights restaurant Spicy Cantina & Mexican Grill served a "visibly intoxicated" Cortese just before she ran out of the establishment, danced in a street intersection and fell several times while the MTV film crew followed her, according to The Associated Press.

On Sept. 13, New Jersey liquor regulators said they fined the Cantina $15,000 for the June 10 incident and Cortese was banned from the restaurant.

The "Jersey Shore" series is being canceled after six seasons and three years of being on air.

The show peaked in ratings with as many as 8 million viewers tuning in; however, ratings declined in more recent seasons, according to The Associated Press.

The final season  will premiere on Oct. 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Snooki was pregnant during the taping of season six so Cortese recruited fellow cast member JWoww to be her resident party girl.
