With the shows return on Starz less than a month away, writer Matt Roberts shared a photo from the Scotland set as he promised fans that the excruciating wait is "almost over".

Claire & Jamie's Romance Sure To 'Melt The Snow' On 'Outlander' This Season
The photo shows a narrow path in the forest, one likely taken by Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) as they gfight the odds for both survival as well as for love.
Fans responded strongly to the pic, claiming that they are "ready" and that they are "going mad" as they countdown to the program's return.

Fortunately for viewers, the wait really is almost over and they won't have to wait long for the action to begin. The new episodes are set to pick up where things left off last fall, with Claire and Jamie dangerously at odds with the wicked Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies).
Outlander will return on Starz for the remainder of its first season on Saturday, April 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
