How Can Fans Help Bring 'Eye Candy' Back For New Episodes?

That's the big mystery regarding the MTV series; while there is still no word of a renewal, the show's leading actress, Victoria Justice, admitted that she wants a second season to happen.

In an interview with Byrdie posted on Thursday, Justice said that she's hoping to keep Lindy around for new episodes and fans should try to remain optimistic.

"I'm really proud of the show and what we accomplished," she said. "So fingers crossed it gets picked up for a second season."

That same day, the actress took to her Twitter page to reveal that she wants to be back on the MTV thriller. And not only that, but R.L. Stine, the writer of the Eye Candy novel that the TV show was based on, tweeted a way for fans to help give the series a renewal.

He wrote, "Would you like 2 c a 2nd season of Victoria Justice in Eye Candy on MTV? Send a note 2 #whereseyecandy."

Justice answered this question and replied with "I wanna see a 2nd season ;)"

Fans can sign an online petition to help boost the chances for a Season 2 of the dark drama. There are currently more than 8,000 signatures to date. There are also a number of tweets that viewers can post, including "#RenewEyeCandy," "#EyeCandySeason2" and "#WeWantEyeCandy."
