Easter Sunday is fast approaching and to celebrate Netflix is offering up a variety of specials and films to get people into the spirit.

Here's a look at five of the most popular Easter movies on Netflix.

5. Heaven's Door (2013, PG)

This family-friendly drama follows a teenage girl who, after the death of her grandfather and separation of her parents, finds a portal to Heaven. Though this movie isn't specifically themed for Easter, it is a movie about faith and family during a difficult time and carries many relatable themes for young and older viewers alike.

4. The Gospel Of John (2014, NR)

Lines are taken directly out of the King James Bible for this flick, which tells the story of Jesus Christ through the eyes of the Apostle John through voiceover narration and recreated scenes.

3. The Bible (2013, TV-14)

Starring Diego Margado and Darwin Shaw, this epic 10 part mini-series uses the world's most famous book as it follows the stories of The Bible from genesis to revelation.

2. Winnie The Pooh: Springtime With Roo (2004, G)

Things take a surprising turn for Pooh and the gang when Rabbit tries to cancel Easter. Though not the most classic of children's holiday specials, this is a great streaming option for viewers with younger kids who are looking for some good family fun.

1. The Passion Of The Christ (2004, R)

This movie isn't one for the kids, but it is widely considered one of the most well-known movies to be screened around Easter time. Directed by Mel Gibson, the movie stars Jim Caviezel (Person Of Interest) as Jesus Christ during the final 12 hours of his life.

This year, Easter is on Sunday, April 5.
