Ben Affleck recently praised his wife for a special work she does for children.

Jennifer Garner Reveals The 'Greatest Moment' In Ben Affleck's Life

On Monday, NZ City posted the details from when the Oscar winner spoke about aid in the Democratic Republic of Congo in Washington, D.C. Apparently, his spouse, Jennifer Garner, has been doing her own share of work in all sorts of places to help children receive an education at an early age.

"In our family, my wife does extraordinary work with early childhood education in the United States and the Appalachians and West Virgina and Kentucky and the central valley of California is something she cares deeply about," Affleck said. "She's extremely effective at it. And we're all very very proud of her and impressed."

The actor also dished on being an activist for the Congo and how it's beneficial to the world.

"I do work in the Congo. We see that as a microcosm of what the government can be," he said. "We can do both. We can do all of these things. We can apply our values to our relatives, to our neighbors be they outside our national borders or be they within. I believe that's what America is."

Affleck and Garner have been married for almost a decade where they tend to gush over each other in a lot of their interviews. When the actress was recently on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon she mentioned how happy her husband was when the Patriots tackled the Seahawks at this year's Superbowl.

"There were tears," Garner said. "Seriously, it was like the greatest moment of his life. It actually was though. I birthed babies for him, and I still have never seen just the pure joy."
