We have some new looks to reiterate the menace of the further in Insidious Chapter 3.

Insidious 3 To Be A "Specter Of The Further"?

Three new posters for the movie were recently unveiled and all of them will put definitely the fear in fans. But one poster takes the cake. In it Quinn (Stefanie Scott) is seen looking terrified lying on her bed, looking away from a ghoulish figure that stands behind her, it's silhouette is prominent. In another poster revealed by Comic Book an eye is seen inside a gaping, screaming mouth. The third poster shows closed red elevator doors, mist wafting outside them, with the ominout tagline: "Fear the further."

The latest trailer for the movie also let us know more about the plot this time around. The second trailer brought us face to face with the ghouls' murderous tendencies. It is revealed that Sue is the prime target and Elise (Lynn Shaye) will try and crack this mystery, which has been labelled the "origin" of the Insidious saga.

Fans "Will Love The Continuation" Of The Horror Franchise

We get a bit of a backstory on Quinn with this one, that her mother passed away when she was young, and now she only lives with her dad, played by Dermot Mulroney. It is further revealed that Sue tries to reach out to her mother sometimes. Elise is seen warning her that when she speaks to the dead, all of them from the beyond can hear her, inviting them into her world. Later on in the clip Elise takes it on herself to venture into the Further and get to the root of Sue's battered condition.

The first two films in the Insidious franchise were helmed by the writer-director team of Leigh Whannell and James Wan. But as Wan had his plate full with Fast and Furious 7 for Insidious 3 Whannell took over, and has both written and directed the project.

Whannell revealed that third film will not be based around the Lambert family. But that does not mean that this sequel will be completely disconnected from the first two films, as the writer also added that this one will be "a lot more like part one than part two."

Insidious: Chapter 2 was released on Sept. 13 and topped the U.S. box office scoring $41.1 million over in its opening weekend. The film stars Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins, and Barbara Hershey reprised their roles from the first film in the series.
