Rumors about Big Ang's health scare have taken over the Internet after sources reported that the reality star was hospitalized after finding a large tumor in her throat.

On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Ang was recently admitted into a Staten Island hospital and now doctors are preparing to perform surgery to remove the tumor.

On Thursday, Big Ang took to Facebook to confirm that the news about being hospitalized and she's speaking out about her upcoming surgery.

"Big Ang isn't going anywhere!" she assured her fans. "This is a minor setback, but I promise you this... I already have some BIG things in the world and will be returning to your TVs very soon."

The reality star is urging her fans to take the necessary precautions to make sure that they too maintain a healthy life.

"Always look after yourselves and don't neglect your health," she continued. "I'm fortunate and blessed to have discovered something very early, and handle it in a positive manner. I thank you and I love you all from the bottom of my heart."

Ang's co-star and close friend Karen Gravano took to Twitter to send her friend well wishes and to assure her that fans around the world are thinking about her.

"Get well soon Ang, you have a lot of people asking about and sending well wishes. You are very loved," the message says.
