Former Basketball Wives LA star Gloria Govan has updated fans on her split with NBA player Matt Barnes.

"Matt and I were together for eight years. And I think the course of our relationship is just due to evolution. We're always gonna be good friends. Obviously we have kids together.

"I don't contribute anything to our divorce at all. It's just kinda life," she told Vlad-TV earlier this month.

But a divorce isn't slowing down Govan's career. While she starred in the original Baskebtall Wives franchise in Miami before heading over to Basketball Wives LA, it looks like she's making her way to big screen now. She said she's going to be starring in the new film Chocolate City as well as making appearances in other movies this year.

Govan has worked with the likes of Geoge Lopez and Mike Epps.

"Life has been kind of crazy. I've been kind of busy. I tried out acting for awhile and did some other things but I was blessed with the opportunity to work with Mike Epps, George Lopez and Tyson Beckford."

Govan and Barnes have twin boys, Isaiah and Carter together. And it looks like they're following suit when it comes being a business owner. She said they have a clothing line that will drop in the fall called Kelly and Michael. She will also launch her own fitness line in May.

She added that her career doesn't have anything to do with her relationship with Barnes.
