Seventeen-year-old Bella Thorne is super busy. Best known for her roles as CeCe Jones from the Disney Channel's Shake It Up and mean girl Madison from the recent hit movie The DUFF, Thorne is one of several celebrities offering their support to the National Park Service, where she'll serve as Centennial Ambassador for their new "Find Your Park" campaign, celebrating the Service's 100th anniversary coming up in 2016. Enstars joined Thorne at the #FindYourPark Launch event in New York City last week where she gave us the scoop on her latest cause.

"I think that most of the time, we spend our days [distracted by our digital lives]," she said. "Me included, guilty as charged! The first thing I do when I wake up is scroll through my Insta feed, or Snapchat, and that's what we all do, every day. We spend so much time on social media and websites and our phones, that we don't realize the beauty around us."

Thorne understands the power of celebrity and hopes her fans will join her in protecting our national treasures.

"I think that if we paid attention a little more, it would also help us for environmental reasons, because the more you pay attention, the more it triggers you to realize what you're doing, and not littering and everything like that," she said.

As a socially aware young adult, Thorne has put her star power behind other causes including The Humane Society, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and The Nomad Foundation, but her fans need not worry-Thorne will be in five new movies later this year, and she's also filming the role of Nina Patterson in the upcoming MTV Scream TV series. As a part of the New York Spring Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall, Thorne voices the famed Alice in Wonderland Statue from Central Park. She's also working on music and writing fiction--(Check out Jersey, the EP she released last November or head to Amazon.com for Autumn Falls, the first novel she penned in a three-book series.)

Sure, Thorne's plate is full, but she's no table-dancing Hollywood rumor-when not working, she prefers to keep things low-key when she's home by acting like a normal teenager.

"You know, I am one of those people, that when I get home, I am so lazy!" she told us. "I always turn like this [on one side], and my bed stand is on like this side [the opposite], and I'm talking to my mom, and I'm like, 'Mommy, can you get my remote?' and she's like, 'Where is it?' I'm like, 'It's over there' and she's like, 'Bella! You can literally turn over, reach, and grab it!' I'm so lazy that I don't even want to roll over to my other side."

And a busy career doesn't keep Thorne from exploring the dating world-or a new relationship.

Thorne recently began dating Pamela Anderson's son, Brandon Lee, and admits things are going well for them.

"Yeah, it's more than friends, of course. We're dating," she said. "But he's super cool, his mom is beautiful, and so sweet, and so gorgeous."
