In the most recently released clip for Jurassic World, the romantic dynamic between Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) didn't go down well with Joss Whedon.

T-Rex Vs. Indominus Rex In Jurassic World?

The screenwriter, who has credits on The Avengers movies and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, called out the movie for being sexist.

Claire, who works for the owner of Jurassic Park, Simon Masrani, approaches Owen - who works with the raptors on the park - to help out with a new exhibit that is set to open in a few weeks. She says that Mr. Masrani has asked her to consult with him. Owen flirtatiously asks her if she wants to consult out in the open or in his bungalow. He goes on to take a jab at her mocking her idea of their first date, which included an itinerary and a diet that does not allow for tequila.

Jurassic World Opens 'A Whole New Frontier,' Reveals New Still

Whedon dissed the movie on Twitter, when responding to a tweet about how hot Chris Pratt looked in the Jurassic World clip: too busy fanning ourselves to talk more about Chris Pratt in this #JurassicWorld clip."

Whedon took a swipe at the regressive roles the characters took on: "... and I'm too busy wishing this clip wasn't '70s-era sexist. She's a stiff, he's a life-force - really? Still?"

Jurassic World has been directed by Colin Trevorrow, and also stars Irrfan Khan, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Judy Greer and Jake Johnson.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
