When it was announced that Hillary Clinton will be running for president in the 2016 election, it appears that she will have at least one TV star as a supporter.

Phoebe Tonkin Flips Off Her Boyfriend On Hiking Trip

On Sunday, Clinton took to her Twitter page to let her followers know that she will sought out presidency next year.

"I'm running for president. Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion. -H," the former Secretary of State wrote.

Phoebe Tonkin Says Paul Wesley Her 'Best Friend'

It turns out that Phoebe Tonkin, one of the stars from The CW's The Originals, re-tweeted this post on her own page. Even though the actress did not officially say that she would be voting for Clinton, this re-tweet seems to imply that she might check mark her name on the ballot.

Tonkin, who is also the girlfriend of Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley, seems to be open when it comes to her views of things in the world that should be changed. Last week, she re-tweeted a post from Seventeen Magazine on a strict policy for dress codes in public schools. The message shows how young girls are being treated poorly for what they wear and how they do not deserve to be blamed.

"I'm sorry, can you see my shoulders?" the post says. "Men are never told that their legs, arms or stomachs are a problem for other people. They are seen as human and very rarely seen as something there for your sexual exploits. We are thirteen through eighteen-year-old girls. If you are sexualizing us, YOU are the problem. Dress codes are perpetuating rape culture and oppressive objectification towards young women."
