Actress Sherilyn Fenn has been very outspoken when it comes to David Lynch not directing the revival of Twin Peaks, now saying that she will quit the series if he is not back.

Fenn has been a big defender of Lynch and his vision, so the news that he is no longer directing the nine-episode revival on Showtime was devastating news. The actress, who famously played Audrey Horne on the 1990-91 series, took to the official Twin Peaks cast Facebook page to share her latest thoughts on the matter.

"Been thinking a lot......and I now know that for me, if DKL is NOT directing than Showtime can RECAST AUDREY HORNE.......or say she DIED in the explosion," Fenn wrote. "The blood will be on their hands."

Audrey was famously present during the explosion at the bank in the second season finale, which wound up being the series finale. Fenn's comments strongly indicate that she wants no part in the Twin Peaks revival if Lynch isn't involved. Depending on what Lynch and fellow series co-creator Mark Frost wrote for the nine-episode revival, this could really set the show back even more.

Fenn further clarified in the post that other cast members will make their own decisions on whether or not to protest if Lynch is not directing.

"It makes me sad and scared," she admitted. "I need to work but just could never disrespect DKL like that."

As of Wednesday there have been no announcements about Lynch potentially returning to the project, though Showtime is actively attempting to court him back.
