Survivor host Jeff Probst has officially revealed the twist set to rock the game of Survivor: Worlds Apart starting with Wednesday night's episode.

Does 'Survivor' Host Jeff Probst Consider Jenn A 'Quitter'?

Probst spoke with Entertainment Weekly in a report published Monday about the game-changing twist that will be introduced in the next episode of Survivor: Worlds Apart.

"We have a new twist this season which is an extra vote," Probst revealed. "Somebody will be given a second vote at Tribal Council and literally will be allowed to vote two times at one Tribal Council -- which as you know from watching the game, sometimes one more vote is all it takes to flip the entire game."

This can obviously be a huge advantage in the game for whomever has it. The advantage will reportedly be available for purchase in the Survivor Auction, which will go down in the next episode.

Probst suggested that the new twist makes for some great hypothetical questions and scenarios.

"Because nobody knows it's coming, they don't really even know what they're playing for," he said. "And then the question becomes for the person who gets it: What do I do with it? How do I make sure this works to my advantage? When is the perfect time to play it?"

To further clarify the rules of the twist, the owner of the advantage would have to tell Probst that they wanted to use it before voting ends. This means that they would not be able to use the advantage after the votes are read or anything like that.

The new advantage will be a secret unless the person who owns it decides to tell people about it.

While the twist is obviously huge for whomever has it, certain players could benefit more from having it than others. Big players like Mike, Rodney and Shirin may be able to shake up the game if they are able to attain the advantage.

Survivor: Worlds Apart airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
