President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney engaged in a heated second presidential debate Tuesday night, addressing all of the key issues including jobs, taxes, health care, abortion and immigration.

Obama was visibly more aggressive than he was on the first debate and the tension between the two candidates was felt at every moment of the 90-minute debate at Hofstra Unviersity in Hempstead, N.Y.

One of the most dramatic moments of the night was when a member of the audience asked Why the United States denied more protection to U.S. diplomats in Lybia days before the terrorist attacks that killed the U.S. Ambassador and 3 Americans and who was responsible for that.

"I'm the president and I'm always responsible," Obama said.

Romney argued over whether Obama had described the attack as a terrorist attack or not and criticized his administration for calling it a "terrorist attack" until two weeks after it happened.

But Obama said he used the word "terror" the day after it occurred. When Romney attempted to dispute that, moderator Candy Crowley stepped in and said Obama was correct.

The President brought up Romney's infamous remarks about the 47 percent of Americans that he made at a closed door fundraising event.

"When he said behind closed doors that 47% of the country considers themselves victims who refuse personal responsibility - think about who he was talking about: folks on Social Security who've worked all their lives, veterans who've sacrificed for this country" and "people who are working hard every day, paying payroll tax, gas taxes, but don't make enough income."

"I want to fight for them," he said.

Romney clarified that he cared about 100 percent of Americans.

"I care about 100 percent of the American people. I want 100 percent of the American people to have a bright and prosperous future," said Romney.

The Republican candidate criticized Obama's job on the economy the most.

"The president's policies have been exercised over the last four years and they haven't put Americans back to work," Romney said.
