The confusion behind the possible split between Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger continues to unfold.

The couple, or maybe now former couple, hit some pretty rocky bumps from the inception of their relationship, including speculation that his family disliked her entirely.

The latest bump they hit would be the supposed cheating scandal Schwarzenegger found himself in while on spring break in Cabo.

There have been mixed reports about the relationship status of the young Hollywood couple, but Hollywood Life reported Tuesday that the 22-year-old pop star felt underappreciated by the 21-year-old student and model.

"Miley felt like Patrick made very little effort to make things right with her after the whole spring break ordeal. She wanted to go to Coachella with him, just the two of them and make it fun and romantic," a source dished.

The USC student apparently didn't feel mutually about some one-on-one time since he was seen at Coachella with just his buddies.

"Miley felt that Patrick didn't really appreciate her so she ended things with him. He's fun and cute, but too immature relationship-wise," the source explained.

In another report from Tuesday, the site revealed that a source said Cyrus is "not wasting her time on anyone who doesn't fully appreciate her. She learned this with Liam [Hemsworth] and she's not putting up with anyone who's not equally committed."

The singer is apparently "disappointed" since "she really did like Patrick."

Perhaps she'll channel her disappointment into some hit songs.
