VH1's Love & Hip Hop New York star Mendeecees Harris has reached a pivotal point in his drug trafficking case and pleaded guilty.

Mendeecees' Assistant Remy Calls Out Yandy 'I Called You Sis', Yandy Claps Back

NBC-affiliate WHEC in Rochester broke the news Tuesday. He admitted to being involved in a narcotics scandal and drug trafficking that included moving around more than 100 grams of heroin and more than 500 grams of cocaine in Rochester from 2005 to August 2012.

According to his attorney Mendeecees will owe the federal government a total of $103,000.

He already had to pay a bail of $600,000 to get him out of jail previously. But now he could spend the next 8 to 10 years in federal prison plus pay anywhere between $15,000 to $5 million. He could also get up to five years of probation.He also has to hand over the money he made from being on the hit VH1 series and even appearances he made.

Interestingly enough, Mendeecees' brother Tyrus has already pleaded guilty and was given 10 years.

Harris, who was in jail for much of the show's fourth season (it just wrapped it's fifth earlier last week), and his fiancée Yandy (who legally changed her name from Smith to Harris) are expected to wed in front of a live audience on May 24. It looks like he and Yandy will be able to tie the knot as he his sentencing isn't until Aug. 31 at 3p.m.

Yandy and Mendeecees have two children together. Yandy gave birth to their daughter earlier this year. Mendeecees also has a son, Lil Mendeecees from a previous relationship.
