For most fans who didn't have access to CinemaCon at Las Vegas this year, io9 reported a literal narration of the new footage for Jurassic World that was unveiled at the event.

Jurassic World Already Under Fire For Being 'Sexist'?

The report revealed that the clip that was featured at the event was more dinosaur-centric. So far, fans have been treated to rare glimpses of the beasts, and a lot of footage featured the human characters, particularly Chris Pratt, who plays Owen Grady.

Some of the highlights had to do with the dinosaurs actually being taken off preying on humans. As relayed by io9, in one of the scenes a raptor handler falls into a pit after the bait, a pig, escapes. The raptors perceive the human as food, and charge on him, but Owen interjects and distracts them with hand gestures that help move them away from the endangered human in the pit.

In another bit, Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) and the owner of Jurassic World, Simon Masrani (Irrfan Khan), are seen talking about the new beast, the Indominus Rex. io9 reports that Claire asks Simon if the dinosaur will scare the kids, to which his reponds: "It will give the parents nightmares."

The clip also gives fans a first look at Jake Johnson playing a tech guy in the film.

Jurassic World has been directed by Colin Trevorrow, and also stars Ty Simpkins, Vincent D'Onofrio and Judy Greer.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
