While Teresa Giudice of Bravo's The Real Housewives of New Jersey is probably on her best behavior in federal prison, her husband Joe Giudice seemed to block the possibility of her getting out early.

Teresa is scheduled to be a free woman on Feb. 5, 2016- just a few months shy of the 15-month sentence she was given. She turned herself in on Jan. 5, 2015. But after word spread she could be out by this summer, reports also circulated that Joe stopped that.

"Joe screwed it up when he met with the feds," an insider told In Touch Weekly Thursday. "It all fell apart. Teresa will be sitting there for the rest of her sentence."

Teresa could still be released as early as this December.

It's not clear what Joe did exactly to get in the way of a possible early release. But all of the news comes as rumors swirl that the two are having issues in their marriage.

"She has had lawyers come at times," a separate source said. "After one came, they said it was a divorce lawyer."

Still, there has been split speculation surrounding the couple for some time now.

Joe and Teresa both pleaded guilty to serious fraud charges including bankruptcy, loan and mortgage back in March 2014. They were sentenced in October. While Teresa was handed 15 months, Joe was given a little more than three years. He's expected to start his sentence when Teresa is released. There's also been reports he is likely to get deported to Italy after he serves his time.
