Victoria (Amelia Heinle) seems to have taken the reins with the company and is attempting to order everyone else around, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) included.

Soaps reported that during the episode set to air today, April 28, Chelsea will not be able to deal with the chaos at the company and will spring that she's quitting with no other notice.

'The Young and the Restless' Star Mishael Morgan Announces Pregnancy, But Will It Become Part Of Hilary's Storyline?

In the sneak peek clip below, Adam (Justin Hartley) is seen standing behind Chelsea as she makes her announcement.

"I quit," she states, before adding, "I'm sorry Ashley, but I'm not going to get caught in the middle of this battle."

What led to Chelsea quitting? Well, a few things actually, including Victor (Eric Braeden) and Victoria telling her she needs to submit her work to focus groups, which she will disagree with, which has a lot to do with why Adam showed up in the sneak peek clip.

Victor and Victoria will cause annoyance to Ashley in multiple ways. Chelsea quitting is just the tip of the iceberg. The pair will discuss repackaging Hex, which will not fly with Ashley. Victoria believes it should be targeted at a younger demographic, but Ashley will argue otherwise.

Ashley and Victoria will bump heads a lot since Victoria seems to be on a power trip.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
