Kim Kardashian of E!'s Keeping Up With The Kardashians has opened up about Bruce Jenner's very public transition in her first interview since he confirmed the news over the weekend.

Kardashian spoke candidly with Matt Lauer of Today Monday and said that she and her family are still trying to get used to the news that Jenner is going to take on a journey to become a woman. She said they are in "family therapy" but shut down reports that other members of the family are livid. But she went on to say that they're still learning more about what will be Jenner's new life.

She went on to describe how they family is "adjusting."

"Even just the discussion... We've been talking to people from different organizations on 'What do we call him? Do we say him or her?' There's so many different things you just want to be supportive and respectful."

She said she is glad her former stepfather finally came clean about his secret.

"Bruce is the most honest...He has the biggest heart. I'm really happy for him. That he's living his life the way he wants to live it and that he has found inner peace. And just pure happiness. That's what life is about. I don't know what life would be like if you always felt like you weren't yourself. I know it's not something that your or I could really fully understand. But I don't think we have to."

She added that whatever brings Jenner happiness is what "makes me happy." She made it clear that she supports him.

In Friday's episode of 20/20 on ABC Jenner confirmed with host Diane Sawyer that he is transitioning into a woman.
