Life will be quiet in Teen Wolf's Beacon Hills when season 5 begins, but the peace won't last for long.

'Teen Wolf' Season 5: Tyler Posey Explains Why The 'Rules Have Changed'

For Scott and Co., the normalcy of looking at colleges and starting senior year will be quickly shattered. A new baddie will start to terrorize the California town and the supernaturally powered teenagers will swap SATs and college apps for mountain ash and claws.

"The show stars off very simple, very relatable. The cast is talking about senior year and the next step, what they want to do for college," Posey explained to Hollywood Life. "They've got that to think about and then all hell breaks loose because it's Teen Wolf."

'Teen Wolf' Season 5: Scott's Pack 'Ripped Away', Tyler Posey Teases 'Sad Moment' For Alpha

Last season saw the Benefactor take on Beacon Hill's entire (and surprisingly large) supernatural contingency. This year, the teens will have to worry about the mysterious Doctors.

"They have all this other stuff to think about so they don't know whether to focus on surviving and saving people or to focus on getting [into] school at the same time. If they put too much on one thing, [either] school's not going to happen or some one's going to die," Posey said. "What's more important, dying or school?"

Well, we all know how a certain Ms. Granger would answer that question. Scott, however, doesn't need to get his priorities sorted. He's always put his friends and family first and the True Alpha will probably let his grades slide to save them again.
