After Blue Bloods finished its fifth season, the question still lingers if there will be a sixth year or not.

Chatter On Danny's Behavior Amid Chief's Assassination On 'Blue Bloods'

On Saturday, TV Line noted that the season finale from Friday night rose ten percent and three tenths at 11 million viewers. In fact, it seems like the show did better than Hawaii 5-0 and Amazing Race.

This seems to spark some hope that the crime drama might get a renewal although nothing is set in stone right now.

Hitman Investigation Chatter On 'Blue Bloods'

There was a recent report from TV By The Numbers that said the series starring Tom Selleck has a fairly positive chance of returning. But unfortunately, some other CBS programs may not stick around for much longer. Hawaii 5-0 and CSI: Cyber appear to be at a 50/50 chance of a renewal or a cancellation. And the future of Stalker and Battle Creek might be cut short soon.

A few shows that have a decent chance of returning for new episodes include Elementary, Person of Interest, NCIS: Los Angeles and Criminal Minds.

The show that have been guaranteed a renewal are Madam Secretary, NCIS: New Orleans, Mike & Molly, 2 Broke Girls, Scorpion, Mom and The Big Bang Theory.

It'll hopefully be a short amount of time before audiences find out if Blue Bloods will be back, and based off what's been reported so far, it's looking pretty bright. A renewal would be expected sometime this fall on CBS.
