Taylor Kinney has opened up on the moment he asked the queen of pop to marry him.

On Sunday, Metro posted the details on Kinney when he got down on one knee for iconic singer Lady Gaga. He kept his statement simple although it sounded like a pretty breathtaking moment.

"I just knew. It wasn't a lightbulb going off, it was in Manhattan," Mother Monster's fiance said. "It was snowing, it was beautiful."

Meanwhile, there's been a rumor that Kinney and Gaga haven't been getting along ever since they decided to put a ring on it. According to Hollywood Life, things have actually gotten worse for them.

"Gaga and Taylor just got engaged but they have been fighting like cats and dogs," a source told the site. "If anything it seems like the engagement made things more tense in their relationship."

If the rumor is true, then one of the reasons why things might be so difficult is because the singer might want to have children sooner than Kinney does.

"They are both very committed to work and extremely busy, and that worries Gaga. She realized more and more she is ready to have kids and wants them to make time for that," the insider said. "But Taylor doesn't think he or she are ready for kids yet. They are both still in the prime of their careers and have too much going on."
