It's only just begun, but the drama at the 2015 Nurse's Ball has already reached a major breaking point on General Hospital.

Red Carpet Arrivals For The Nurse's Ball Begin

After Carly's (Laura Wright) big reveal that Ric (Rick Hearst) had paid Hayden (Rebecca Budig) to pose as Jake's (Billy Miller) wife so he could reunite with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), the nurse was devastated that shed been fooled so badly by Ric yet again. But, after figuring out that the truth meant she and Jake could pursue a romance after all, her determination to find him and work it out was hampered by Nikolas' (Tyler Christopher) shocking revelation.

After keeping the secret since learning it from his grandmother, Nikolas finally revealed that Elizabeth couldn't be with Jake because he wasn't Jake at all--and though Hayden was a sham, he is actually married, because the identity he can't remember having before his accident is none other than the believed to be dead Jason Morgan--Sam's (Kelly Monaco) husband. However, despite coming clean, Nikolas will still need to convince an emotional and determined Elizabeth that he is being honest.

Ric Receives Shocking Opposition To His Plans

"I'm telling you the truth!" he says in a preview clip for the Monday, May 4 episode.

Elizabeth may still find it hard to believe, meaning Nikolas may have to tell her everything he knows--and if he can get through to her, there's no telling what she might do with the information.

Meanwhile, back in the main ballroom, the show will continue, with some highly anticipated performances--including Magic Milo and the Magic Wands, as well as a dance number featuring Lulu (Emmee Rylan), Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and more.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
