She has learned that the man she intended to have a relationship with now that she's kicked Ric to the curb was really Jason back from the dead, and now, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) will make a big move before the Nurses' Ball concludes on General Hospital.  

Red Carpet Arrivals For The Nurses' Ball Begin

After learning that Ric (Rick Hearst) had hired Hayden (Rebecca Budig) to pose as Jake's (Billy Miller) wife, Elizabeth became positive that it meant her chance to be with Jake was finally being given to her--only for Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) to reveal to her that he was actually a back form the dead Jason Morgan--meaning he was unavailable because if his identity was revealed, he would need to be reuited with his actual wife, Sam (Kelly Monaco).

Now, ELizabeth is determined to make sure the news is out and will storm the stage at the Nurse's Ball to give Sam the most shocking news she could ever receive.

Nikolas Comes Clean To Elizabeth

"It's about Jason," Elizabeth says to her in a preview clip for the Tuesday, May 5 episode.

However, despite her resolve to make sure the truth is finally revealed, Elizabeth may change her mind halfway through, as she considers how happy Sam is with Patrick (Jason Thompson), and also considers she has not been given any proof beyond Nikolas' word. And though she may no longer spill the beans, her behavior definitely has the subject of her impromptu speech worried that she isn't handling the truth about Ric very well.

"Something's really wrong," Jake/Jason says to Carly (Laura Wright) in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
