Joanna Krupa was very careful with her words when asked about Kim Richards' recent arrest and stint in rehab.

Last week, the Real Housewives of Miami star was asked to respond to allegations of Richards' mother having pressured her to marry a rich man.

"I don't know, but I love Kyle Richards so I wouldn't say anything bad about her sister," Krupa told X17 Online on Thursday before having lunch with husband Romain Zago at Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Although Krupa was clearly not going to bash her close friend's troubled sister, the cameraman continued to question her, and wanted to know what she thought about Richards enterring rehab late last month after a drunken arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

"I'm sure, Kyle, her siser, knows best. I don't know Kim, so I don't want to comment because I don't want to say something that's going to hurt the family," Krupa explained.

While Krupa spends much of her time in Beverly Hills, fans shouldn't expect to see her pop up on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

"I have a few friends from there and I have my friend Gretchen [Rossi] from the O.C., so just because I've been hanging out with them that's when the rumor started, like way back in the year," Krupa revealed to Access Hollywood. "But no, it's always been a rumor."
