Double the doctors, double the fun...and double the trouble.

'Hannibal' Season 3: What Will Pull Dr Lecter Back Into The 'Public Light'? Mads Mikkelsen Explains

Hannibal will throw a dash of romance into Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Bedelia Du Maurier's (Gillian Anderson) European escapades in season 3, but their glitzy ruse can't last forever. As with every relationship under Hanni's purview, this can only end bloody.

Already steeped in mystery, Bedelia's decision to abscond with the dashing cannibal will become even more complicated as she jumps into the European social scene as the good doctor's wife. A new promo indicates that the happy couple will be living the highlife before their world takes on a rather sanguine hue (see video here). Neither character truly trusts the other, and soon Du Maurier will have a gun aimed at her cohort and Hanni will be staining his lily white shirts red once more.

'Hannibal' Season 3: Finale Title & Air Date Revealed? Bryan Fuller Dishes On The Red Dragon

"What he believes is interesting is what the next day will bring," Mikkelsen said of Hannibal's mindset during the first half of season 3, according to Yahoo! TV. "What will this relationship bring? Any new day is an opportunity, and if she betrays him somehow that will be interesting as well."

The premiere, "Antipasto," will be entirely focused on the Bedelia/Hannibal story - Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) won't even appear - so prepare to get plenty of answers about the pair's new life right off the bat.
