Three cast members from FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show were honored with Critics' Choice nominations on Wednesday.

The Critics' Choice Television Awards announced their nominations for the 2014-15 TV season on Wednesday, with the stars of Freak Show doing particularly well.

Jessica Lange (who played Elsa Mars) was nominated for Best Actress in a Movie or Limited Series. She will be competing against Aunjanue Ellis from The Book of Negroes, Maggie Gyllenhaal from The Honorable Woman, Felicity Huffman from American Crime, Frances McDormand from Olive Kitteridge and Queen Latifah from Bessie.

Finn Wittrock, who memorably played Dandy Mott in Freak Show was nominated in the Best Supporting Actor in a Movie or Limited Series category. He is up against Jason Isaacs from Stockholm, Pennsylvania, Cory Michael Smith from Olive Kitteridge, Bill Murray from Olive Kitteridge, Elvis Nolasco from American Crime and Jonathan Pryce from Wolf Hall.

Sarah Paulson collected a nomination for playing Bette and Dot Tattler in the Best Supporting Actress in a Movie or Limited Series category. Her competition includes Khandi Alexander from Bessie, Claire Foy from Wolf Hall, Janet McTeer from The Honorable Woman, Mo'Nique from Bessie and Cynthia Nixon from Stockholm, Pennsylvania.

American Horror Story actors have actually done quite well for themselves since the invention of the Critics' Choice TV Awards in 2011. Lange won last year for Coven while Paulson and her costar Zachary Quinto won for Asylum in 2013.

The Critics' Choice Television Awards will be held Sunday, May 31 at 8 p.m. and broadcast live on A&E.
