Through thick and thin, Maddie Ziegler has been pretty lucky to always have her mother by her side. And that is why the pint-sized Dance Moms star paid special tribute to her mother Melissa on Mother's Day this weekend.

Maddie shared a pic of her along with her mother and younger sister Mackenzie and captioned it with, "Happy Mothers Day to the best mom in the world! You do so much for Kenzie and I! Even though you embarrass me, you're a pretty cool mom! Love you so much @dancemommelissa31."

Meanwhile, things are looking pretty up for Maddie and her career. The 11-year-old is one of the most talked about entertainers in the celebrity world, having worked with Sia on several of her music videos, performing at some of the biggest shows in Hollywood and of course, for her amazing dance moves on the Lifetime reality television show.

In an interview in Telegraph this past weekend, the up-and-coming star said she couldn't believe that couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West watched her dance at the Grammys.

"Kim and Kanye were right in the front," she said. "I was freaking out that they were watching me dance."

As far as her relationship with Sia, Maddie said that the two are as close as sisters these days.

"It feels like I've known Sia for my whole entire life," said Ziegler. "You'd never think she was a celebrity because she's just so humble and sweet and caring."
