This Thursday, May 14, the Season 11 finale of Grey's Anatomy will hit television screens on ABC, putting an end to the emotionally draining season.

Prior to Dr. Amelia Shepherd's (Caterina Scorsone) brother Derek (Patrick Dempsey) dying a tragic death, she was kind of seeing Dr. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd).

Scorsone previously told The Hollywood Reporter that at the very beginning of their relationship Amelia was "in this pink cloud of new love or new affection," but soon after that cloud burst especially with the disapproval Amelia's sister-in-law Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) gave.

McKidd even weighed in on his character's relationship with Amelia to The Hollywood Reporter, admitting, "there's still an attraction, draw and pull toward each other.

"It's almost like their hearts are telling them they should be together, but their minds and their rational beings are saying for all these reasons they shouldn't be together," he explained.

Now, the two appear to be getting along once again. Owen was there for Amelia as she mourned Derek's death after all.

ABC released a sneak peek into the finale that is called You're My Home, which is below, which shows Amelia and Owen interacting with each other in a kind of flirty manner.

Amelia is seen telling Owen that the patient they have been taking care of "is still alive" and then he asks her about the patient's girlfriend.

"Out of surgery. Awake. Not paralyzed," Amelia tells him about the girlfriend's status.

Owen then compliments Amelia's work and they keep giving each other adoring glances.

Amelia then brings up that Meredith is selling her home, which surprises Owen and leads to the two joking with each other about Owen's living arrangements.

"I really want this to work," Amelia states, which seems to put Owen in a state of awe as he whispers, "Yeah?"

Grey's Anatomy airs on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
