A new report speculates that the release date for the first trailer for Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 is set for May 22, along with the premiere of Tomorrowland.

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 To Be Followed-Up With A Divergent Crossover?

The Latin Post has sourced the date from the Projection List, a website which gives a forecast for the release date of various movie trailers. Now while this seems like very tempting news, we will take it with a grain of salt. The Projection List had previously stated that the trailer would be launched on April 24, with the release of The Age of Adeline. The Projection List had been pretty accurate with the dates of film trailer releases, give or take a few days, but it got the date wrong for Mockingjay Part 2.

Additionally the movie's director Francis Lawrence had revealed in a recent interview that the trailer for the movie was not going to be unveiled anytime soon. Lawrence nipped the rumors -- about the trailer releasing in the near future -- in the bud saying that that was not the case and it was going to be a bit of a wait for fans.

He specifically revealed this important bit of information to Collider. Another IBT Times report revealed that although the movie will represented at Comic Con in July, the trailer will not be unveiled at the event. Lawrence clarified that in another interview.

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 stars Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy) and Elizabeth Banks (Effie Trinket).

The movie will hit theaters on Nov. 20.
