EXCLUSIVE: Jonathan Keltz Opens Up On The Graphic Content Of 'Reign'

On Tuesday, E! News updated its spoiler chat where someone asked if anyone from the French Court will go to the English Court to have an interaction with the iconic queen. According to showrunner Laurie McCarthy, it definitely sounds like it'll happen- but probably not right away.

"Eventually, we will," McCarthy revealed. "Obviously, they're a sea part from one another, but you will see some travel back and forth. We will see some cross-pollination between the two courts."

Everyone Will Struggle With 'Power & Love' When 'Reign' Returns

In an exclusive interview with Jonathan Keltz (Leith), he mentioned that Elizabeth's presence is bound to make things more intriguing in the royal court.

"Queen Elizabeth is such an unbelievable woman character and just bringing something like that into the mix, it's a game-changer and it provides so much story," the actor said.

Keltz then explained another reason why he was excited when he found out that this historical figure would be coming aboard the series.

"I was then excited that Rachel Skarsten was cast to play her because she's an old friend of mine and a fantastic actress," he said. "So I was just thrilled that it was somebody that I knew and somebody so great and perfect to play the role."

Reign Season 3 premieres this fall on The CW.
