Things in Genoa City are only getting more complicated as the Newman-Abbott merger party is occurring during the episode airing today, May 25.

Things are still weird with the murders of Austin (Matthew Atkinson) and Courtney (Kelli Goss), but things are about to get even more bizarre as this bash goes down.

In the sneak peek video below, Lily (Christel Khalil) enters the party to announce a car accident has occurred.

"There's been a severe car accident and the valet said the car was driven by a party guest," Lily shares with the rest of the partygoers, which makes Victor (Eric Braeden) question where Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is.

It turns out that the party guest involved in the crash was a party crasher, Tobias (Jeffrey Christopher Todd). Soaps reported that he initially would arrive at the party and cause a scene. Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Billy (Burgess Jenkins) will wind up removing him from the party.

While Tobias causes quite the spectacle and gets removed from the party, Summer (Hunter King), Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) and the others involved in the mystery of who killed Austin and Courtney will speculate if Tobias is involved in their murders.

Nikki, meanwhile, will be sneaking drinks, which will lead to an intervention eventually according to TV Insider. Later this week a standalone episode will air focusing on the other characters intervening in Nikki's troubles with alcohol.

"The intervention is as tragic and as real as it gets on TV, but it's also pretty funny," the actress who plays Nikki dished.

Anyway, leading up to this, Nikki will be blaming Victor for Tobias ending up in the hospital. She will also admit to feeling dirty for following her husband's orders time and time again.

Also in the sneak peek video, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will be snooping on Paul's (Doug Davidson) computer at the police station and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will help him do some digging on Tobias.

It appears as though Tobias played a part in Austin and Courtney's deaths especially since Kyle, Summer and Abby (Melissa Ordway) will hear him gasp "Austin" in the hospital before flat lining.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
