Keyshia Cole And Daniel Reconcile: Gibson On Getting Back With Wife, We're 'At An Amazing Space' [VIDEO]

All In star and singer Keyshia Cole might be staying quiet about possibly reuniting with her estranged husband Daniel Gibson, but he’s been doing some promotional rounds lately and has no shame in letting fans know where they stand.

Gibson, who recently left his stint as a Cleveland Cavaliers star, is now pursuing his passion for music. The New Music Buzz Online spoke with Gibson at the Phlextravaganza event earlier this month. He gave an update on his love life with Keyshia.

“Well me and Keyshia right now are at an amazing space. We’re friends, we speak often. But that’s it. I support her. She still supports me. Right now we’re raising our son the best we can. That’s the space we’re in right now.”

He said their son, Daniel Junior, is also doing well.

As for his music, Gibosn said he hopes to establish himself as an artist who is taken seriously; versus just being known as a professional basketball player.

He told the site, “I’ve been doing a lot of things in the artist realm. Trying separate myself from being a basketball player. My heart right now is in art. I’ve been going to a lot of these events, meeting a lot of artists, picking their brains and just continue to work on myself and what I love to do.”

Cole filed for divorce from Gibson more than a year ago after rumors swirled that he cheated on her. Their split still isn’t final and word is they could be working on their marriage. Starting off as friends might be a good start. Check out his interview below.
