VH1’s Love & Hip Hop New York stars Yandy and Mendeecees took very shocking direction for their wedding just days before it’s slated to air live on VH1.

Mendeecees took to his Instagram over the weekend to say that he and Smith decided to go to the courthouse to get married. He even posted a snapshot of he and Smith on the steps of the building. But he let fans know in the caption not to worry just yet.
So we decided 2 just do it…who needs all the cameras lights Action..Not me!! now Officially Harris is her last name!! just joking tune in May 25th vh1 @8pm”

While many fans got caught in a frenzy wondering if the two really got hitched instead of doing it live in front of millions of viewers (especially since Mendeecees deleted his photo), Yandy headed over to her own Instagram to set the record straight.
She shared the same picture Friday with the caption, “Just filling out the application! The day is almost here. But not today!!! GOT EM. Tune in May 25 8pm on VH1 #smithharriswedding2015 @mendeecees you play too much!!”

To make sure that fans knew the wedding was still happening, she shared a special invitation the next day. It still doesn't say the venue of the wedding but it will most certainly be in New York City.
She wrote in the caption, “#weddingmode” and revealed some of her team had been “slaving with 15hr days”
