It looks as though George Clooney isn't the big blockbuster movie star he used to be. His latest movie, Tomorrowland, flopped at the box office this weekend, by raking in only $40 million dollars, even though it cost about $190 million to make.

George Clooney Reveals His Promise For Wife Amal

According to the Daily Mail on Monday, Disney's latest failure might make it difficult for future financers to fund original stories like Tomorrowland.

Universal's latest, Pitch Perfect, starring Anna Kendrick, made $30 million while the weekend's other new opening Poltergeist, pulled in $23 million.

George Clooney Says Amal Doesn't See Herself In The Celebrity World

Perhaps one of the reasons why Clooney is no longer pulling in audiences like he did before is because fans are tired of him constantly brining up his wife Amal's name in interviews.

For example, just recently George admitted that he had to beg Amal to marry him.

In a new interview with Vulture Magazine last Wednesday, the Hollywood actor recalled the moment by saying, "I asked her, and she just kept saying, 'Oh my, God,' and 'Wow,' and we just sat there. And finally, I just said, 'Listen, I'm 53 at the time, or 52 at the time, I think. I said, 'I've been on my knee for about 28 minutes so I gotta get an answer out of this because I'm gonna throw a hip out! I might not be able to stand back up.'"
