Jennifer Garner Finds A 'Fun & Easy' Way To Help Children

On Monday, Daily Mail posted snapshots of Oscar winner Ben Affleck with his three children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, as they walked out of a toy store in California. Each kid held a bag as their dad walked next to them in a tight shirt, jeans and a leather jacket.

The two girls dressed in pink while little Samuel donned white and blue.

Even though the kids received some toys, they actually don't get to do this as often as some may assume. Affleck's wife, Jennifer Garner, told Us Weekly earlier this week that there are boundaries when it comes to buying things for their kids. In fact, there was a recent situation where Samuel noticed something at a bike store and his mom had to put her foot down.

"Yesterday, we were at a bike store getting their bikes serviced and getting new helmets that fit and...my littlest one saw something he wanted. I had just said, 'We're not buying anything,' and he threw a fit," the actress recalled. "The people at the store said to me, 'Please let us give this to you' because he was so unhappy."

Garner was grateful for the offer, but politely turned it down.

"I said, 'I'm sorry that he's throwing a fit in your store and you're so sweet to want to give this to him. And thank you for asking me first. But he's going to have to throw a fit,'" the actress said. "I said no. No is no."
