5 Seconds of Summer has been pretty mum about their forthcoming studio album since right before their Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour kicked off earlier this month.

Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford are still apparently working on their next release though despite their rigorous tour schedule.

The Australian band played in Paris, France on Friday for their tour and then jetted over to Norwich, England for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend on Saturday.

They currently have off from their tour until Thursday when they'll play to a sold out crowd in Dublin, Ireland.

The band isn't just relaxing on their few days off though. They appear to have had a "session" with John Feldmann. It's unknown if it was purely a writing session or a recording session or perhaps a combination of the two though.

On Sunday, three of the Aussies (Irwin, Hemmings and Hood) met musician, songwriter and producer Mike Herrera while at the Slam Dunk Festival.

Feldmann shared a photo of the three 5SOS members with him and others at the Slam Dunk Festival.

Herrera tweeted them about how great it was to have met each other and wished them "a great session" with Feldmann.

Since then, Hemmings has tweeted out lyrics on Tuesday, which alarmed many fans, thinking he was teasing something new from his band.

"You give me something to think about, that's not the shit in my head," he shared.

Those lyrics are not from a 5SOS session though. They're from the band PVRIS' song "St. Patrick," which some 5SOS fans quickly realized or already knew.
