Former Bachelor in Paradise Season 1 contestant Cody Sattler is really good friends with the latest Bachelor Chris Soules and his fiancée Whitney Bischoff.

Sattler and Soules met while competing for Andi Dorfman's affection on the tenth season of The Bachelorette and have remained close ever since.

In recent months, Sattler has been out in Los Angeles to support Soules on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars that recently wrapped. While in California, Sattler has bonded with Soules' fiancée and her adorable pooch Lillie too.

Sattler has been flying solo in the love department since splitting from his Bachelor in Paradise costar Michelle Money back in December.

Sattler joined the couple to watch the latest episode of The Bachelorette Season 11 Monday night, which may make him seem like he is a third wheel, but Bischoff's pup was his date for the evening.

"[W]hile those two cuddle on the couch I get this little cutie to snuggle with!" Sattler gushed on Instagram with a snap of himself snuggling Lillie.

"This little dog is such a lover!" he added.

Lillie looks totally pleased to be snuggling with Sattler as he rubs her head and holds her close to him.

Who needs a human companion when you can get all the love and affection from an adorable little fluffy dog?
