Melissa McCarthy is getting fit and looking fantastic.

Earlier this month, the Bridesmaids actress received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and during the ceremony, she debuted her impressive new figure. Days later, she opened up about her new fashion line, Melissa McCarthy Seven7, which will include 80 pieces in sizes 4 to 28.

"People don't stop at size 12," she explained to More Magazine, via E! News on Tuesday. "I feel like there's a big thing missing where you can't dress to your mood above a certain number."

"[Malls] segregate plus-size," McCarthy continued. "It's an odd thing that you can't go shopping with your friends because your store is upstairs hidden by the tire section...There is just this weird thing about how we perceive women in this country. I would love to be a part of breaking that down."

As for her weight loss, McCarthy recently spoke to Good Housekeeping, via Life & Style Magazine, explaining, "Sometimes I wish I were just magically a size six and I never had to give [my weight] a single thought...I don't know why I'm not thinner than I am. I don't really drink soda; I don't have a sweet tooth, and we eat healthfully at home."

Following her 45-pound weight loss debut in Hollywood last week, McCarthy continued to hit the red carpet, and, just days later, appeared to have lost even more weight at another event.
