Jerry Seinfeld has made a name for himself as one of the greatest comedians of the modern day, still being talked about today for his work on the well-known sit-com that bore his name Seinfeld. However, like any great creative, Seinfeld is always looking towards new and exciting challenges. Most recently, the star is set to make his directorial debut with the film Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story. The cast for this upcoming adventure has been announced, and we can't wait for this treat to come out of our movie-generating toaster.

The movie will star mega-talents including Melissa McCarthy, Jim GaffiganAmy Schumer, Hugh Grant, James Marsden, Jack McBrayer, Tom Lennon, Adrian Martinez, Bobby Moynihan, Max Greenfield, Christian Slater and Sarah Cooper. Seinfeld himself will also be one of the performers in the film. This cast of characters will band together to tell the story of a breakfast-based rivalry set in 1963 Michigan. According to the logline, the story will follow the quest of, "Kellogg's and Post, sworn cereal rivals, race to create a pastry that will change the face of breakfast forever. A tale of ambition, betrayal, sugar and menacing milkmen."

Jerry Seinfeld may be a comedian, but these amazing blue sneakers are no joke!

We do not yet know when this sensational cast will find themselves in the throws of the competitive story. We do know that the project will come out on Netflix. While this is his first time taking on the directorial role, this is not Seinfeld's first time collaborating with the streaming service. He previously worked with them to produce his 2020 special 23 Hours to Kill

We will keep you up to date on all new information that comes up regarding this project.
