Her arrival in Port Charles has caused many to question if she is really Ava (Maura West) back from the dead, and now, the woman claiming to be Denise DeMuccio will wind up having a major confrontation with her biggest enemy--Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on General Hospital.

The last person presumed to have seen Ava alive was Sonny as he tried to keep her from falling off a bridge during their escape from Pentonville a few months back. He wound up losing his grip and she fell into the water below, with everyone assuming at that moment that she was dead. She was later revealed to be alive in a New York hospital (with only Silas --Michael Easton--) aware that she wasn't dead, but learned while there that she was dying of cancer.

Now, this dark-haired doppelganger is in Port Charles allegedly seeking answers about the woman she supposedly looked like, but has found herself in jail because no one believes she is who she claims to be, and they all think she is Ava in a bad disguise. Now, as she awaits the results of a DNA test to confirm her story, she will receive a visit from Sonny--and he won't be happy to see her.

Jordan Shocks Shawn With Unexpected News

"We can clear this up right now," he shouts in a preview clip for the Thursday, May 28 episode.

And Sonny isn't the only one who believes Denise is really Ava trying to pass herself off as someone new, with her own daughter, Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Kiki's boyfriend (and Ava's ex) Morgan (Bryan Craig), both also believing that she is Kiki's mom.

"I would bet the bank that Denise is your mom," Morgan says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
