Two of the biggest villains in season 4 of ABC's Once Upon a Time might be back for season 5.

'Once Upon a Time' Star Jennifer Morrison Clears Up The Rumors That Her Character Is Pregnant

Despite Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit) dying and Ursula (Merrin Dungey) receiving her happy ending in the fourth season, both villains might be back next year on Once Upon a Time.

Dungey and Smurfit appeared at MCM London Comic Con recently where they spoke on their characters and if they would return for season 5.

'Once Upon a Time' Season 5 Will Be 'Distressing' For Fans

"Well sadly Ursula got her happy ending," Dungey said when asked if she would come back. "I got my voice back. But the good news about 'Once Upon a Time' is that nobody dies and nobody stays happy for too long so hopefully I'll be able to resurface in that world."

Dungey added that she is hoping Ursula will return in some fashion where the town needs something "handled" as "the town fixer," bringing to mind Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) in Scandal.

The actress doesn't know if she's returning but considering the show brought back Zelena (Rebecca Mader) this year after she died in season 3, anything is possible.

"They were so busy wrapping up the end of this season they haven't yet figured out what the storyline is for the next year. But they brought Zelena back from Oz and you just never know," Dungey said.

When Smurfit was asked if she would return, she essentially said the same thing as Dungey in that nobody truly stays dead on Once Upon a Time.

"Who knows. You're only as dead or as happy as the creators decide you're going to be. Anything is possible," Smurfit answered.

Fans of "Sea Devil," as they are frequently called, will be hoping the two villains return in some capacity in the future, considering how much fun they brought to the show.

Once Upon a Time returns for season 5 in the fall on ABC. It is returning to its regular Sundays at 8 p.m ET/PT timeslot.
