'Shadowhunters' TV Show: Hodge Starkweather Cast, Who Snagged The Role? [VIDEO]
Shadowhunters has found their Hodge Starkweather in the form of Jon Cor.
The Being Human alum will continue to bulk up his scifi resume when joins the ABC Family drama in a recurring role, according to The Wrap.
An adaptation of Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments novels, Shadowhunters will follow the adventures of Clary Fray (Katherine McNamara), an 18-year-old human/angel hybrid responsible for hunting demons. The young Fray's adventure into the world of the Shadowhunters after her mother, Jocelyn (Maxim Roy), is kidnapped.

Jace (Dominic Sherwood), a fellow Shadowhunter, and Simon (Alberto Rosende) will join Clary for the 13-episode freshman run. Also joining the cast is Emeraude Toubia (Isabelle Liightwood), Matthew Daddario (Alec Lightwood), Isaiah Mustafa (Luke Garroway), Harry Shum Jr. (Magnus Bane), and Alan Van Sprang (Valentine Morgenstern).
The series already has a strong fanbase, and ABC Family is hoping to honor the story that readers already love.
"We're just trying to bring the cinematic experience to the television form one hour at a time, one week at a time," executive producer McG said, according to Entertainment Weekly. "And we're absolutely passionate about honoring the fans and delivering on the promise of the book series."
